Geeks and Apple devotees might want to mark October 4th on your calendar until – it seems to be the awaited day that Apple will introduce its new iPhone 5.
The Wall Street Journal, “All Things D” (the “D” is for “digital) reports that the company will hold one of his classic media events of that day to show the world its most recent incarnation of the device iconic pant .
While Apple certainly could change their plans at any time, sources said that the October 4 date has been selected by the company to introduce the iPhone 5. Sources said the plan now is to make the new device for sale in a few weeks after the announcement.
This announcement will be unlike any other in the recent history of Apple, as it does not have its founder, Steve Jobs and his trademark black turtleneck. Jobs resigned as CEO last month so that all eyes will be on the company’s new boss, Tim Cook to watch his big moment in the first place.
What will be interesting to see, of course, is whether Jobs also he will make his appearance, which is something that is likely to be determined by your state of health, in a decision to be made very close to the event.
