Science fiction lovers everywhere are geeking out over the new concept photographs of Disneyland new 14-acre Star Battles theme parks at their Las vegas, florida, and california locations. The models for the parks were unveiled this weekend at the D23 Expo.
The exhibits, which are placed to open in 2019, will have interactive flights and adventures aboard the Millenium Falcon and the Resistance battleground, all of these take place on a new unidentified globe. Additionally, Disney is beginning a Star Wars inspired resort complete with halloween costumes and interactive hotel rooms.
“It’s unlike anything that exists today, ” said Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. “From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a Star Wars account! You’ll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience everything that demands, including dressing up in the appropriate attire. “
“Once you leave Earth, you will discover a starship alive with characters, reports, and adventures that happen all around you. That is 100% immersive, and the story will touch every single minute of your day, and it will culminate within an unique journey for each and every individual who visits. “
While it might not be the most wretched hive of foam and villainy, we’re still counting down the times till it opens.
