AMD‘s got two new 28nm video cards today, the AMD Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition and the HD 7750. Compared to top-tier cards, they’re fairly darn affordable, but not without a few concessions.

The HD 7770 is the original graphics card investing in a 1GHz GPU that is not only overclocked, according to AMD. And judged against to specific additional budget-busters, it is fairly affordable at $159.

But for all the clockspeed, it came in middle-of-the-pack contrasted to still-more-expensive cards in AnandTech’s benchmarks. That’s essentially inspiring company, but fastest clock does not necessarily unkind best.

Meanwhile, the $109 800MHz 7750 certainly isn’t clocked all but as fast, but it too does not crisis its own electricity connector, and can run gaming-level performance at the very-low 75W energy consumption.
