George Lopez put on a brave face Wednesday, he turned to the news that “Lopez Tonight” was abolished at the beginning of what turned out to be his last show.

“Calm down, calm down. I was just until tomorrow evening,” he joked to the audience. Like any comic, laughed at his misfortune – and get some plugs for his next job.

Like “The Smurfs”, which already has a release date sequel (despite being critically panned.) “So today I lost some work because I am brown. But I also got some work because I was blue,” said George Lopez, who lent Grouchy Smurf your voice in the film.

George Lopez show was moved from eleven p.m. slot an hour later, when Conan O’Brien joined the network. Former host of NBC wanted Lopez to start Wednesday’s “Conan”.

While the network executive told Variety’s decision “cost”, others believe that the “Conan’s” declining ratings were also to blame.

“I’m fine. We are the ruins of the goddess,” said George Lopez, referring to fellow unemployed friend of actor Charlie Sheen. “They left me.”

At least, that has the support of celebrity fans, including anything Nash, Angie Harmon, Aubrey Plaza and Roseanne Barr, who tweeted his displeasure about the show extinction.
