There has been concern about the role of Anne Hathaway in Christopher Nolan “The Dark Knight Rises” from the beginning. The initial concern was that Daffy Duck, charming, ridiculous Anne Hathaway had just the right amount of seriousness to play Catwoman, though no one involved with the production to admit that she was playing Catwoman. (She is listed only as a game “Selina Kyle”, which itself becomes Catwoman’s real life identity.) Then there were the initial official photos of Anne Hathaway character, the photos looked so awkward and out of Davis tone Batman movies to the point that even Hathaway herself said people were not happy with it. (Although even noting that he liked the suit “had an excellent taste.”) But … This weekend, paparazzi photos of Anne Hathaway Catwoman costume complete set of filtering and probably will not change minds. Now it is important to note that these are paparazzi shots, we could say anything and will probably be completely ignored. But if you do not like the picture above, you will not be crazy about them, because, well, it looks like Hathaway on the official photo, but now she has a mask and ears . Any concerns I had before is not relieved by this: Look, in essence, as a lady walking with a Halloween cat costume. Compare that to how scary and convincing Tom Hardy seems to Bane.
This should not be considered lack Hathaway, necessarily. Catwoman’s costume a suit is so common as you might imagine, and if Halle Berry ridicule him (and her), no shame in looking a little silly in yourself, at least long-shot paparazzi photos of anyway. As always, it’s context and can not argue that Nolan (and, indeed, Hathaway) have not earned the benefit of the doubt. But still. It is not so different from this, really.
