Files compiled by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has eyewitness reports about which public buildings, like the mysterious “flying saucers” and “worm-shaped lights” in 1985 and 2007.
UFO related documents, including photographs, drawings and letters were processed at 9000 pages thick file of evidence. However, although such evidence, the defense admitted that the lack of financial resources and higher priority to prevent them from implementing thousands of UFO claims further, eventually leading to the closing table MoD UFO ten years ago.
Talking about the newly disclosed documents, UFO author Dr David Clarke said: “Many people still believe that the governments of the world knows the truth about UFOs and conceal that we are not alone in the universe. But I believe that truth is in these files. The files show that the British government as we know about extraterrestrial visitors and has no evidence that we have ever visited, despite the interest taken in the observation over the years. That’s true, but people believe that? ”
Here are some of the best unexplained observations of the files issued by the National Archives.
Glastonbury, 2003
The document contains the 2003 sighting reports describing the mysterious lights seen moving 300 feet above the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival on 28 June. In an email sent to the MoD, which has seen the light festivalgoer first hand, wrote: “They were orange and moved in a group of light seemed to move in small circular motion. ”
East Dulwich, London, 2003
The strangest recorded case of two women, originally fears of “potential terrorist attack in East Dulwich after witnessing the” worm-shaped “twisted light in the sky above their neighborhood contacted police. According to testimony, see the unclassified files of police officers arrived with two men, dressed in suits and dark glasses to refer to themselves as Mork and Mindy, and said one of the women who look at the object because of possible radiation and carry a transmitter that constantly clicks.
Both women were also asked to speak with anyone in case of panic and offered to wash their eyes with a solution. The incidence was recorded at the resort the next day and the couple subsequently complained to police that they were not taken seriously.
Retford, Nottinghamshire, 2004
Defense Intelligence experts called to examine the photo below “flying saucer” taken outside City Hall in Retford Nottinghamshire. Photographer Alex Birch did not notice anything suspicious at the time of shot, but have ruled out aircraft lens flares, he contacted the defense to investigate the image. But experts from the Defence Geographic and Imagery Intelligence Agency (DGIA) has not reached any “definitive conclusions” on the image content. Spooky.
Belgium, 1990
Correspondence between the MoD and the Belgian embassy described the incident in March that year, when two F-16 was scrambled to investigate reported UFO to appear on the radar of NATO. After the scuffle, were not hostile or aggressive activities said to be registered. A detailed report on a senior official of the Belgian Air Force was recorded in the files. However, the case remains unsolved.
Lakenheath, Suffolk, 1956
In a similar incident, a retired RAF Fighter Control Freddie Wimbledon publicly described his role in the famous UFO incident, the United States Air Force (USAF) RAF Lakenheath, in August 1956. The account issued by the RAF Radar Museum newsletter, Wimbledon said it was in service with the RAF Neatishead in Norfolk, where the Air Force reported UFO radar at the airport at Lakenheath.
He reminded the acitivity is clearly visible on the radar, and observers on the ground. RAF scrambled Venom interceptor, radar controlled Wimbledon track an object, which apparently ended with the aircraft door. According to the files, the second coded Venom, but never within 20 miles before the finish went climbing at an amazing speed. Wimbledon later revealed that all staff involved in the incident is asked by HQ Fighter Command, who stressed the “absolute secrecy”.
